The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving robust software solutions that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. This role plays a critical part in strengthening digital infrastructure by contributing high-quality code, driving continuous improvement, and mentoring junior developers to uplift the overall technical capability of the team.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge/skills in:
o Angular, NodeJS
o Relative code-design patterns and frameworks of Angular and NodeJS
o Microservices architecture
o AWS and Cloud Systems
o Unit Test Frameworks for Angular and NodeJS
o Data queries, operations, optimizations, and performance management
• Involvement in technical improvements
• Involvement and participation in:
Software enhancements or new feature development (FITS)
• Involvement, participation, and ownership in: Software maintenance (HDRs investigation and resolution)
• Mentorship and Coaching to Junior Developers
• Technical guidance and knowledge sharing sessions to new hires and junior developers
• Ability to investigate and resolve minor to complex HDRs per 2-week sprint in a full-maintenance capacity mode with minimal supervision
• Ability to work and resolve complex-sized features and software improvements.
• Mitigate cases of missed or misunderstood requirements leading to rework, additional work, or missed project's target schedules.
• Continuous drive and knowledge sharing on code quality in the realms of coding standards and best practices.
• Involvement in system internal upgrades such are library or third-party version updates and migration of out-to-date frameworks to newer versions.
• Contribute to team goals and targets in terms of productivity and operational efficiency
• Proactive engagements on issues especially for critical HDRs and complex feature development
• Proactive involvement in helping other team members on their queries, and requests for technical guidance.
Front-End: • Proficiency in Angular (v12 or higher) with experience in state management (NgRx/Services), RxJS, and component-based architecture.
• Strong skills in HTML5, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Familiarity with responsive UI frameworks and mobile-first design principles
Back-End: • Experience and understanding of NodeJS for building scalable REST APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with web services (REST Services).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming patterns, security, and API versioning.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of basic UI/UX design principles.
Database: • Solid experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of schema design and database queries.
• DevOps & Deployment:
• Experience with unit testing (Jasmine, Karma, Jest) and E2E testing (Protractor, Cypress).
• Experience using Docker for containerization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.).
• Deployment knowledge on Cloud - AWS, Azure or similar platforms.
Leadership and Collaboration: • Prior experience leading a small team or a project module is a strong advantage.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with local and international teams.
• Comfortable conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and leading by example. • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Experience:
• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Previous work experience in Philippine or offshore IT/BPO development teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial systems, e-commerce platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
• Understanding of OAuth/JWT authentication, multi-factor authentication, security best practices, and performance tuning. Soft Skills:
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Can work independently or as part of a team in remote or hybrid setups.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and quality-driven.
• Willing to coach peers and support team growth.
Nice to Have: • Knowledge of basic UI/UX design principles.
