Description
- Design and develop complex web applications and modules for our platform using Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Develop and deploy new features to enhance platform functionality based on product requirements.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain existing software and databases.
- Optimize our platform for scalability and performance, especially during peak traffic hours.
- Integrate with and utilize AWS services for deployment, scaling, and other platform needs.
- Adhere to Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban. Contribute to code quality and enforce best practices by communicating and sharing them with team members.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of experience building web applications with Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience in developing and consuming APIs: REST, JSON.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases).
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like Vue.js or React is a plus.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with the Laravel PHP framework is a plus.
- Experience with Node.js frameworks like NestJS, Fastify, Express.js, or similar is a plus.
- Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Must be a proactive and strong team player.
- Able to work structured and independently.
