Job Responsibilities
(1) Agile Process Management
Responsible for the comprehensive implementation of the Scrum Agile development framework within the team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, practices, and rules, including but not limited to Sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, Sprint review meetings, and Sprint retrospectives.
Manage the entire lifecycle of Sprints, ensuring that each Sprint has clear objectives, reasonable task allocations, and timely delivery of workable software increments.
Maintain and update Scrum-related artifacts, such as the Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog, ensuring they are clear, transparent, and reflect the true status of the project.
(2) Team Collaboration and Communication
Act as a coordinator and facilitator for the team, actively promoting effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional team members, removing communication barriers within the team, and enhancing overall team efficiency.
Guide team members in self-management during Sprints, encourage active participation, shared responsibilities, and address potential conflicts and issues within the team.
Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the team has a clear understanding of the product vision, priority of requirements, and business objectives, and assist the Product Owner in managing the product Backlog.
(3) Project Tracking and Monitoring
Track project progress, identify risks and obstacles, and take timely and effective countermeasures. Utilize Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps to provide real-time project status reports, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of project progress.
Monitor key project metrics, such as team velocity, burn-down charts, and cumulative flow diagrams, analyze data to identify potential improvement points, and promote continuous improvement within the team.
Ensure that the project meets quality standards, collaborating with the quality assurance team to conduct quality control and quality assurance activities at each stage of the project.
(4) Continuous Improvement
Organize Sprint retrospective meetings for the team, guiding them to reflect on the processes and outcomes of each Sprint, gather improvement suggestions, and develop actionable improvement plans to ensure continuous enhancement of efficiency and quality in each Sprint.
Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in Agile practices within the industry, actively introducing new methods and tools that align with company culture and team characteristics, continuously optimizing the team's Agile development processes.
Participate in the development of the internal Agile community within the company, sharing Agile experiences and knowledge, and promoting the overall improvement of the company's Agile capabilities.
(5) Stakeholder Management
Maintain close communication with various stakeholders related to the project (such as business units, senior management, clients, etc.), understanding their expectations and needs, and timely providing feedback on project progress and outcomes.
Manage stakeholder expectations, coordinating interests among various parties in the event of changes in project requirements, priority adjustments, etc., ensuring that the project progresses smoothly while meeting the needs of all parties involved.
