  • Establish industry contacts and client base.
  • Gather market information and provide feedback to the NE Sales Manager.
  • Participate in sales planning Sales Marketing Activities.
  • Visit owners, architects, consultants and general contractors for possible elevator and escalator, dumbwaiter and handicap lift requirements.
  • Prepare traffic analysis required for buildings of targeted clients.
  • Prepare data and specifications of elevators, dumbwaiters and escalators to be presented to owners, architects and/or contractors.
  • Prepare quotations of elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators and handicap lifts.
  • Negotiate with owners, architects, and/or contractors for possible sales.
  • Call on clients to follow up status of bid on a regular basis.
  • Co-review with Contracts Assistant, pre-bid and post award contracts and ensure that all documents related to a sale are complete and referred to Finance for approval.
  • Review pre-bid contracts, plans and specifications, terms and conditions thoroughly to ensure accuracy of bid.
  • Coordinate with Construction Manager/Supervisors with regards to installation contracts.
  • Attend meetings with building owners, architects and/or general contractors to thresh out problems encountered at jobsites.
  • Assist in collecting payments of his/her clients and obtains withholding tax certificates from his/her clients.
  • Review elevator, escalator, dumbwaiter and handicap lift drawings prior to final checking of Sales Manager and Construction Manager.
  • Coordinate with Construction Manager/Supervisors with regards to installation contracts.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals through e-log.
  • Perform other duties/tasks that may be assigned from time to time, in support of the achievement of team goals or for own development purposes.

Requirements

  • With at least 2 years of technical sales experience in the construction industry
  • Engineering graduates a preference but not required
  • Resides near the areas of coverage indicated
  • HVAC and Elevator experience a preference but not required
