What is a Project Specialist in 1Aviation?

The Project Specialist provides expertise and support in both project management and business process improvement initiatives.

Implements project lifecycle management based on established guidelines and framework.

Designs action plans to increase productivity, manage project costs, and keep projects on schedule for completion.

Role Functions And Responsibilities

  • Ensures that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission and Values are achieved.
  • Promotes and ensure compliance to Quality, Safety, Security and Customer Service standard base on
  • regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Provides project management support to deliver projects within the established budget and timeline under the supervision and guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Provides assistance and administrative support for projects through creation, maintenance and
  • knowledge-sharing project management processes and tools.
  • Develops project brief and utilizes project management tools, creates and delivers project presentations/dashboards/progress reports to project stakeholders.
  • Assist with data/project analysis.
  • Assist in maintaining project assets, communications and databases.
  • Facilitates logistical requirements for the project such as scheduling of meetings and conference calls, reservation of conference rooms, etc.
  • Lists down action items, prepares minutes of the meetings and performs progress monitoring.
  • Ensures that project documents are complete, current and properly stored.
  • Promotes project management processes and discipline across the organization.
  • Performs other duties or ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by Project Manager and Department Head.
  • To assist in business process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • College Graduate or equivalent work experience
  • Preferably with 1-3 years of experience specializing in project management and business process improvement.
