What to Expect:

The responsibilities of a Production Worker Apprentice (Painter Apprentice) include learning and performing essential painting tasks under the supervision of an experienced painter at Keystone Plastics. Typically, their duties are mostly focused on preparation, such as masking, cleaning, and then applying color under the direction of a supervisor.

This position will be subject to regular training in accordance with the requirements for becoming a proficient Painter.

Your responsibilities include:

1.   Performing supportive tasks and assisting senior painters and other trainees

2.   Cleaning work areas and equipment

3.   Applying protective coverings such as masking tape to items or areas that may be damaged or stained due to work processes (including previously finished surfaces)

4.   Filling cracks or gaps in the surfaces of materials

5.   Smoothing surfaces of items to be painted

6.   Learning to use and inspect equipment before each use
