Job Description

The Project Team Lead oversees the successful execution of internal and external client projects within the organization. The Lead’s role involves managing a team, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs), optimizing processes, and maintaining high quality deliverables while meeting deadlines and client expectations.


Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures
  • Identify required resources, stakeholders, and dependencies
  • Lead day-to-day project activities and ensure alignment across teams
  • Facilitate collaboration among involved stakeholders
  • Track progress and manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget


Client Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and reporting for leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage expectations and escalate issues appropriately


Data Management & Analysis

  • Analyze complex datasets of ships’ and other MOL data to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decisions
  • Actively propose strategies to reduce GHG through data analysis findings in collaboration with other data specialists
  • Develop frameworks to establish new project initiation as a bottom-up approach
  • Lead the team using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Utilize various statistical methods, machine learning, and predictive modeling to derive insights from large datasets


Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
  • Implement best practices and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Continuously enhance domain knowledge of maritime operations and engineering concepts among junior team members, fostering high-value insights


Leadership

  • Work closely with junior analytics members to derive accurate results and ensure strict quality in reporting findings
  • Supervise junior analytics team members to effectively capture and transform data
  • Provide mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Allocate tasks and manage workloads effectively


Education

  • Bachelor's / College degree in IT, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent degree


Experience

  • 2–3 years supervisory experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and data analytics, with a strong emphasis on technical analysis
  • Experience with big data technologies is an advantage
  • Proven track record of leading analytics projects from conception to implementation
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid)
  • Experience in BPO, IT, software, or service delivery is an advantage


Skills

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Ability to facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and demos
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Package: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge in data management, statistical analysis, and BI tools is an advantage
  • Knowledge of project management tools is an advantage
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage priorities dynamically

Benefits

  • SL/VL, HMO with 2 qualified dependents, 13th month pay, salary increase, transportation and communication allowance
