Asian Terminals, Inc., is looking for a lawyer who enjoys a diverse range of legal work within a collaborative environment. Reporting to the AVP-Legal, this role is expected to be a trusted adviser to all business lines and will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters within the Philippines.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• reviewing, drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, including procurement, consultancy, data privacy and agency agreements;
• handling disputes and managing litigation;
• representing company's legal interest in government agencies;
• supporting and/or leading M&A and joint venture projects;
• company secretarial support.

Job Specifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• a Law degree;
• minimum 4-year post admission experience in private practice or 6-year post admission experience in private practice and in-house position, ideally with experience in logistics;
• business acumen, with the ability to balance commercial and legal considerations to deliver commercial solutions;
• experience in dealing with regulatory and compliance matters and take on positions such as assistant corporate secretary;
• excellent communications and leadership skills;
• analytical ability and high attention to details;
• ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive outcomes through peer and senior management involvement;
• strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks;
• ability to work independently and under pressure.
