SMC Repairs and Maintenance Inc. is an Operations, Maintenance, and Management (OMM) subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation.

The primary purpose of the company is to engage in, manage, and carry on the business of repair, maintenance, warehouse management, and other related undertakings in connection with the operation, development, improvement, rehabilitation, administration, management, control, and operation of all types of manufacturing, milling, commercial, or industrial enterprises, business undertakings, or ventures.

Position: FABRICATOR AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE

Plant Assignment: BMEG TAGOLOAN, MISAMIS ORIENTAL

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Vocational/Technical course
• Must be a TESDA NC II holder in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in Plant Maintenance
• Willing to be assigned at BMEG Plant - Zone 4, Brgy. Gracia, Tagoloan Misamis Oriental

Key Responsibilities:

• Completes daily assigned works and accomplishes the work order form. Activities involve servicing fabrications.
• Carries out troubleshooting of activities that involve welding-repair, build-up, oxy-ace flame cutting, and brazing to recondition and salvage worn-out mechanical parts.
• Perform fabrication of various types of products.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion.
• Responsible for fixing buildings and maintaining properties to ensure that they are in good condition.
• Perform other related duties as required in plant shutdown activities including indoors, outdoors, in confined spaces, and working at heights with proper PPE.
