Responsibilities

• Align content with the client’s advocacies, values, and legislative agenda.
• Storytelling & Scriptwriting for Short-Form Video
• Research & Fact-Checking
• Fact-check statements, laws, and policy positions before scripting.
• Simplify complex mentorship topics into digestible, engaging scripts.
• Work closely with videographer & lead account manager
• Accept revisions and feedback from the management’s team gracefully.
• Draft multiple script versions in a fast-paced environment.
• Pivot content quickly based on breaking news or trending discussions.
• Ensure scripts resonate with the younger audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field; or at least 2 years experience in Creative Writing.
• Knowledge of sensitive topics to avoid missteps.
• Expertise in TikTok trends, hooks, and pacing (3-15 sec attention grabbers).
• Experience in humor, relatability, and emotional storytelling (inspirational, thought leader, aspirational, or advocacy-driven).
• Up-to-date with TikTok trends, challenges, and viral formats.
• Creativity with Discipline – Can make serious topics engaging without being cringey or off-brand.
• Tact & Diplomacy – Avoids controversial or polarizing takes unless strategically aligned.
• Confidentiality – Handles sensitive political messaging with discretion.
• Empathy & Audience-Centric Thinking – Scripts should resonate with the younger audience.
