Job Description:
• Conducts internal control audits and process reviews to ensure adherence with
internal policies, procedures, and external audit standards. Monitors audit
outcomes and drive timely resolution of findings and action items.
• Defines audit test selection, scope, and strategy in collaboration with departmental
and business unit leadership to ensure comprehensive coverage and timely
execution.
• Supports internal compliance reviews, SOX, Service Organization Control (SOC)
audits, and other external assessments by validating and organizing required
documentation prior to submission as audit evidence.
• Develops and maintains audit project plans, providing regular status updates and
communicating key findings, risks, and recommendations to the Team.
• Leads the planning and execution of compliance projects aligned with
organizational goals. Tracks milestones, manages backlogs, and ensures timely
delivery of project objectives.
• Maintains and updates application procedures to ensure documentation remains
accurate and relevant. Recommends process and control enhancements based on
audit insights and operational needs.
• Offers informal mentorship and technical guidance to colleagues. May lead project
teams or oversee assignments of junior staff.
• Performs additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment
to team success.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in SOX IT & Business Process audits (e.g., Access Management, Change Management, Computer Operations).
• Skilled in identifying control deficiencies and assessing their potential impact on IT systems and financial reporting, with the ability to evaluate both the effectiveness of IT controls and their financial implications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, look up formulas, and data validation, used for control testing and analysis.
• Driven to assist team initiatives that optimize workflows and elevate the overall performance of the compliance team.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining process documentation and testing guidelines in alignment with organization policies and testing methodologies
• Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
• Logical thinking, good attitude, fast learner and good team player
• Resourceful and able to work out technical solutions
• Collaborative Team Player
