Preparation & Assembly:

Wash, chop, and prepare fresh ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and proteins for salads. Assemble salads based on recipes and specific customer dietary needs or modifications. 

Dressing & Topping Creation:

• Make fresh dressings and toppings from scratch to enhance the salads. 

Food Safety & Hygiene:

• Adhere strictly to food safety regulations for storing, preparing, and serving all ingredients. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area and all utensils. 

Inventory Management:

• Monitor ingredient stock, notify managers when supplies are low, and practice stock rotation to ensure freshness. 

Presentation:

• Ensure all salads are visually appealing, consistently meeting the establishment's standards for quality and presentation. 

Collaboration:

• Work with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner. 

Experience:

• Prior experience as a salad maker or in a high-volume kitchen environment is often preferred. 

Food Safety Knowledge:

• Understanding of and ability to implement food safety procedures and regulations. 

Culinary Skills:

• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and strong knife skills for chopping and preparing ingredients. 

Attention to Detail:

• The ability to balance flavors and textures and to ensure accuracy in order. 

Creativity:

• An aptitude for developing new and innovative salad combinations and recipes. 

Teamwork & Communication:

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen personnel.
