Job Description
- Artistic Food Presentation: Design and create decorative food displays and artful arrangements of food on plates and serving platters.
- Menu Development: Develop and design new culinary applications, ideas, and presentations that enhance the overall menu.
- Quality Control: Inspect raw and cooked food products and ensure all food meets established standards for quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and organization, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Inventory Management: Maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards, monitoring inventory to ensure freshness and availability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train other kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, sanitation, health, and safety regulations.
- Creativity and Artistry: Ability to develop unique and visually stunning food designs and presentations.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on every element of a dish, from ingredients to plating and garnishing.
- Culinary Techniques: Expertise in a variety of cooking and food preparation methods.
