Description

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards.
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry).
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff and provide training.
  • Maintain inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong teamwork ability, strong work ethic, effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment, long hours, standing for extended periods.
  • Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, passion for food, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving.
