Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide governance and expertise with solutions development and delivery execution of technology-based projects/solutions.
  • Work under the Digital Office Solutions Delivery Organization and directly under the supervision of the Solutions Delivery Manager.
  • Ensure that all solutions development projects are properly executed by the vendor (partner) under software factory (managed service) projects with close collaboration from the organization’s Digital Office teams (Product, Project and QA).
  • Provide expertise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the development and architecture implementation
  • Work with a high degree of collaboration throughout the project’s lifecycle, working closely with the Solutions Delivery Manager and Project Management team, ensuring project deliverables are met on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Works with the Back-end Team in a multidisciplinary work culture, as well as mobile and front-end developers, QA engineers, product owners, and UX designers
  • Leads multiple project teams regarding the design and development of products and platforms, e.g., solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new features and improve existing functionalities
  • Engages in prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software in the user interface or service layers
  • Ensures good code quality, e.g., tests code and edge cases
  • Manages backlog items
  • Provides feedback to improve product quality and mitigating failure risk
  • Plays a vital role in discussions on architectural design and technology choices

Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Back-End Technical Lead handling teams of back-end developers
  • Proficient in using NodeJS and JavaScript
  • Background in Apigee/other Middleware Microservices and hands-on experience in consuming REST services, as well as SOAP, GraphQL and Restful Services are an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in cloud services platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience AWS lambda microservice, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as integration services, e.g., OAUTH and OAUTH2
  • Experience integrating with Angular, Reactive or other Front-End frameworks are preferred
  • Adept in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, e.g., Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall
  • Proactive in contributing ideas to the team.
  • Strong learning skills, good work ethics, and a positive growth mindset
  • Works well independently or in a team
  • Highly motivated, determined, and persistent - a visionary
  • Experienced in doing project delivery and execution, governance of the code reviews and cross-functional collaborations.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
