- Support legal claims and case reviews by analyzing relevant financial data and documentation.
- Review and interpret financial statements, bank records, and other financial documents to assess accuracy and credibility.
- Conduct credit analysis and loan application evaluations to determine risk levels and financial viability.
- Prepare detailed financial summaries, models, and reports to support internal reviews and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all financial findings align with regulatory and procedural standards.
- Identify financial trends, irregularities, and risks within claims or credit applications.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial data
- Maintain and manage the database of loans and collateral (~350,000 line items), including data ingestion, cleansing, and standardization from borrowers.
- Support the development and maintenance of SQL/Python-based systems (and future ETL tools) for data management, reporting, and BI dashboards (internal and external).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, credit evaluation, or loan assessment.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and credit risk principles.
- Experience supporting UK financial or legal processes (preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial analysis tools or systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfort working with databases, financial calculations, and BI/reporting tools (SQL, Python, ETL experience is a plus).
