Starting Rate: $3,000/month
100% Remote | Full-Time | Long-Term
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication and reliability
- Able to work independently and handle confidential data with integrity
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development of detailed annual budgets and regular financial forecasts, comparing actual results against plans and analyzing variances.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and long-term business planning.
- Business Performance Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, executive summaries, and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for leadership review.
2. Treasury & Transaction Management
- Initiate Financial Transactions: Accurately process and initiate time-sensitive payments, transfers, and other key financial transactions, ensuring proper controls and approvals are followed.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow, identifying potential risks and opportunities to optimize working capital.
- Banking Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for managing bank accounts, processing necessary account changes, and maintaining compliance with internal treasury policies.
3. Accounting Support & Compliance
- Month-End/Year-End Support: Assist the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and detailed account reconciliations.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of operating costs and expenses, identifying trends and recommending cost-saving strategies to improve profitability.
- Data Integrity and Confidentiality: Handle highly sensitive and confidential financial data with absolute integrity, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations.
4. Strategic Decision Support
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct thorough ad-hoc financial analysis and research as requested by leadership to evaluate new projects, contracts, or business opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and recommend improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and reliability.
