Work Location: QC Office

Contract Duration: 6-12 months with possibility of extension/absorption depending on your performance

Work Set-up: Hybrid (2-3x onsite/week)

Responsibilities

● Design and develop data pipelines that will ingest the data from the respective source

systems into the data warehouse

● Support and optimize existing data pipelines to ensure that the downstream SLAs are met

● Responsible in attending agile ceremonies as part of the Agile Tribe set-up and delivering

the different demands of the Tribe related to data ingestions to the data warehouse

platform

● Ensures data quality within the data warehouse tables

● Ensures the data engineering standards and practices are followed like code version

history, readability, functionality, extendibility, test runs, deployments, and post deployment

support

● Manage data storage, computing unit requirements, and data security within the data

warehouse

● Supports other data engineers on other Tribes or domains if necessary

● Supports stakeholders of the data warehouse platform by solving data related issues and

conducting data investigations

Qualifications

● At least 4 years of experience as Data Engineer

● ETL skills/experience in any of these tools (Talend Open Studio, Microsoft SSIS, Informatica, IBM Datastage, Oracle Data Integrator, Pentaho Data Integrator)

● Skills/experience in any of the following Business Intelligence/Data Visualization tools/platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlick, Crystal Reports, Pentaho, Jasper, Informatica, Microsoft SSRS, etc)

● Experience with other programming languages is a strong plus

● With background in AWS

● Experience working with Data Lakes is a big plus.

● Can start ASAP, preferred
