Job Description
The ideal
Contract Management Associates should enjoy drafting and editing contracts, demonstrating excellent attention to detail abilities. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also possess basic knowledge of procurement regulations, contract agreements, and legal terminology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement for Agencies and general services: RFQ, RFP, and Invitation to Bid processes; scheduling; noticing; assembling bid documents; pre-bid meetings and bid openings; and preparation of contracts.
- Manage contract development through all lifecycle stages (draft, revision, approval, filing, and distribution), ensuring that insurance, bonding, and legal requirements are met, and internal processes and records are maintained.
- Negotiate contract rates, terms, and conditions
- Professional interaction with colleagues, agencies, coordinators, agency management and area lead.
- Administration of active contracts to identify, calendar, notify, and ensure completion and compliance with all deliverables in collaboration with relevant responsible parties and/or department.
- Administer agency records management policies and procedures to maintain complete, orderly, accurate, and accessible working files and archives.
- Evaluate records for retention in compliance with HOD-approved policies.
- Support onboarding of new partners – both agencies and partner brands
- Identify and facilitate commercial solutions with the strategy team and relay to partners for better business optimization
- Compile and analyze partner/agency data, synthesize findings and recommendations, and help present these findings to executive leadership team
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships in matters of agency contracts
- Conduct industry benchmarking and assess best practices (rates and process) and introduce them to SPX agency contracts
- Manage relationships with agency partners with the goal of making SPX as a partner of choice for the agencies
- Perform special projects as requested and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in contract-related services, preferably in a corporate setting
- Background in e-Commerce and/or Logistics a plus
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G document suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
