Role: Accountant

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Philippines - Cebu

Schedule: Morning Shift

Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards;
• Prepares clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
• Prepares management accounts;
• Helps identify accounting issues;
• Applies basic Australian tax compliance procedures;
• Assists with Australian tax planning for clients;
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts;
• Completes requisite regulatory forms; and
• Complies with lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements.Maintain accurate documentation of client environments, interactions, and resolutions

Education Requirements:

• Essential
• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
• Desirable
• Commencement of CPA or equivalent 

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes (Non-negotiable):

• 2-3 years in a similar role
• Preferable experience with Xero
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
