Description
- Conduct visual and non-destructive testing of welded joints.
- Inspect welds for quality and compliance; maintain inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Document inspection results and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with welding teams to address quality issues.
- Provide expert guidance on welding processes and techniques.
- Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding inspection preferred.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety regulations; attention to detail.
- Working Conditions: Primarily in industrial settings; may involve exposure to noise and hazardous materials.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong communicator; proactive and trustworthy; ability to work independently.
