Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. Controls traffic by directing drivers. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

Security Guard

• Build and manage relationships with security companies, strategic partners, local communities, governmental agencies and other service providers.
• Periodic site risk assessment and risk management;
• Organize and implement personal protection details for key personnel when required;
• Crisis management strategies for all possible physical, cultural and geo-political risk scenarios
• Liaison with the PNP, AFP, LGUs and other support entities on matters concerning security and risk to project sites and personnel;
• Identify concerns with key stakeholders in the community and recommend cost efficient solutions to strengthen those relationships;
• Physical, geo-political and cultural risk assessment of potential opportunities to ensure timely completion of projects;
• Crime prevention and detection, fraud deterrence and investigations as required;
• Provide quality assurance oversight on technical reports (e.g. EIA, ESIA, IEE, ESDD, EPRMP) prepared by in-house specialists and/or third-party consultants;
• Background verification of local hires
• Site assessment, security coordination, security clearance and personnel orientation prior to fieldworks/ site visits (for Vena Energy employees, partners, contractors)
• Site-specific security plan
