Project Description:

DXC Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP programming and possess the ability to develop, maintain, and enhance SAP applications to meet our clients' business requirements. This role involves close collaboration with clients and functional teams to deliver innovative SAP solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• SAP ABAP Development:

o Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language.

o Create and modify reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows using ABAP.

o Develop and implement user exits, BADI, BAPI, and enhancements.

• System Integration:

o Work on integration projects involving SAP and non-SAP systems using various SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE).

o Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules and third-party systems.

• Code Optimization and Performance Tuning:

o Perform code reviews and conduct performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.

o Optimize existing ABAP code and implement best practices in ABAP development.

• Technical Documentation:

o Develop comprehensive technical documentation for new and existing applications.

o Maintain detailed documentation for custom developments, interfaces, and workflows.

• Collaboration and Support:

o Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.

o Provide technical support for SAP modules, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems.

• Quality Assurance:

o Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.

o Ensure all developments meet quality standards and comply with corporate policies.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Education and Experience:

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

o Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP projects, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming language, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

o In-depth knowledge of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE).

o Experience with ABAP Objects, ALV reporting, and Smart Forms/SAP Scripts.

o Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 and S/4HANA is needed.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
