PMS Lead – Middle Mile Operations
Job Summary
The PMS Lead is responsible for planning, monitoring, and ensuring the completion of Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) for third-party trucks in Middle Mile Operations. The role helps prevent breakdowns, extend asset life, and improve the overall reliability of partner fleets.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the PMS schedule for third-party trucks in the assigned area.
- Coordinate with fleet partners and service providers to ensure timely and complete maintenance work.
- Track completion and compliance of PMS activities using checklists and documentation tools. Ensure that all trucks are maintained on time.
- Validate the scope and quality of PMS performed by mechanics and vendors, including physical inspections when needed.
- Analyze vehicle history and recommend adjustments to the maintenance schedule based on usage and condition.
- Work closely with the Area Mechanic Lead to flag non-compliant vendors or recurring PMS gaps.
- Consolidate and submit reports on PMS compliance, cost, and performance trends.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a vocational course or TESDA-accredited program in Automotive Servicing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field is an advantage but not required.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in fleet maintenance, PMS planning, or a related logistics support function.
- Knowledgeable in truck preventive maintenance requirements and documentation practices.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
