The Part-Time Messenger/ Liaison is responsible for the efficient and secure delivery and retrieval of important documents, packages, and other materials. This role involves acting as a reliable representative of the company for routine transactions with external entities, primarily focusing on government agencies and banks, within agreed-upon part-time hours.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Document & Package Handling:
  • Securely deliver and pick up documents, letters, and small packages to and from designated locations, including internal departments, clients, suppliers, banks, and government offices.
  • Ensure timely execution of all assigned deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Obtain necessary signatures or acknowledgments for all transactions.
  • Maintain organized records or logs of all completed deliveries and pickups.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.


  • External Liaison (Focused):
  • Process and follow up on routine permits, clearances, payments, and document submissions with specified government agencies (e.g., BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, SEC).
  • Conduct regular bank errands such as deposits, withdrawals, and submission of financial documents.
  • Represent the company professionally during all external interactions.


  • Administrative Support (Limited):
  • Assist with basic office tasks such as filing, sorting mail, or preparing documents for dispatch, as needed within the part-time schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

  • This is a part-time position, typically requiring 2-4 full days a week.
  • Specific schedule to be discussed and mutually agreed upon during the hiring process.
  • Flexibility to accommodate urgent tasks or changes in schedule with prior notice is a plus.

Requirements

  • Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.


  • Experience:

- Previous experience (minimum of 6 months to 1 year) as a Messenger or in a similar field/liaison role, preferably in Quezon City or Metro Manila.

- Familiarity with basic government agency processes (e.g., BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG) and banking procedures is highly advantageous.


  • Skills:

- Reliable and trustworthy, especially in handling sensitive documents and cash.

- Good sense of direction and familiarity with Metro Manila routes (particularly Quezon City).

- Effective communication skills (Filipino and basic English).

- Organized and able to manage time efficiently for multiple tasks within limited hours.

- Proactive and resourceful in addressing logistical challenges.


  • Physical Requirements:

- Physically fit and capable of sustained walking, commuting, and occasionally carrying small packages.

- Willingness to travel frequently within Quezon City and other areas of Metro Manila.


  • Licenses/Equipment: Required:

- Valid Professional Driver's License

NBI or Police Clearance is a must.


  • Highly Preferred:

- Own motorcycle, with corresponding fuel allowance/maintenance support provided by the company.


Working Conditions:

  • Predominantly fieldwork, involving travel around Quezon City and other parts of Metro Manila and sometimes North and South area.
  • May be exposed to varying weather conditions and traffic.
  • Limited office-based administrative tasks.
