Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephones, using the "Ring Central" phone system.
  • Screen patients for a potential appointment (screening questions and "rules" for scheduling would be provided).
  • Collect data (For example, patient name, date of birth, phone #, small amount of medical history).
  • Collect credit card information of patients scheduling (must have HIPAA compliant secure WiFi/network).
  • Scheduling patients and uploading the needed information into the Charts (using our Electronic Health Record, called "Simple Practice").
  • Securing proper forms.
  • Tracking and securing missing paperwork.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support (must be proficient with Excel and Word).
  • Calling patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies for insurance information as requested by providers.
  • Cold calling area physicians, therapists, and other referral sources to discuss the practice, schedule video discussions about the practice with our providers, and collect their office email and mailing addresses.
  • Prior authorizations on "Cover My Meds" or by calling insurance companies.


Experience:

  • HIPAA-compliant and secure work environment, with an understanding of privacy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent typing and grammar skills; ability to communicate effectively with physicians, administration, employees, and vendors.
  • Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records, including uploading information to charts.
  • Comfort with answering phones for a physician's office.
  • Medical Administration certificate or degree recommended.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Manila time

Work Setup: Home-based (Must be residing near Quezon City)
