Job Title: Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Work with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, REST APIs) to develop scalable and efficient services.
• Implement SOAP and RESTful web services using Apache CXF.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server for database management and query optimization.
• Utilize Quartz Scheduler for job scheduling.
• Integrate authentication mechanisms using Waffle for AD authentication.
• Work with JasperReports and LibrePDF to generate PDF reports.
• Collaborate with front-end developers using AJAX (DWR), jQuery, Bootstrap, and JSTL.
• Use Swagger (springdoc) for API documentation.
• Apply secure coding practices, including the use of OWASP Encoder for vulnerability mitigation.
• Debug and troubleshoot application performance issues.
• Maintain version control and documentation for all developed features.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 11)
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server 14C
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019
• Knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, REST API development)
• Familiarity with Apache CXF (SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP services)
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (Waffle for AD authentication)
• Experience with DWR (AJAX), jQuery, Bootstrap, JSTL for UI development
• Familiarity with logging frameworks (Log4j, SLF4J)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit)
• Experience working with Quartz Scheduler for job control
• Understanding of SAST tools (Veracode, Snyk) for security vulnerability analysis
• Familiarity with OpenAPI Documentation (springdoc)
• Knowledge of XML and servlet-based development using Jakarta Servlet, JAXB, JAX-WS
• Experience using Apache Commons Libraries (BeanUtils, Codec, FileUpload, Logging, etc.)
• Experience with Apache Jetty, JDOM2, XMLBeans, and Xalan
• Familiarity with commons-digester3, commons-discovery
• Previous exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
