AP IT Business Analyst is primarily responsible for the end-to-end process of eliciting, articulating, and analyzing business requirements for technology projects. This includes facilitating requirements gathering and documentation, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and translating business needs into actionable project scope and requirements. They collaborate closely with project owners, project managers, and solution architects to define technical architectures and data integrations, while also producing essential project documents like Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements (FR). Additionally, they assist in the approval process of these documents and review vendor deliverables for third-party projects.
Beyond requirements management, the AP IT Business Analyst contributes to quality assurance and project support, providing input on project planning, coordinating process design and test scenarios, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). They also focus on continuous improvement by providing insights for process enhancements and developing visual representations of business processes. Furthermore, they conduct business process assessments and offer recommendations based on current systems to address business needs.
They are expected to adhere to company policies and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 55000, and ensure project compliance with information security policies.
Experience (No. of Years) Professional: At least 5 years experience in IT or a related field and 3 years experience as IT Business Analyst handling medium-scale IT projects.
Leadership: Not required but of advantage
Relevant BA Experience: Successfully and consistently delivered quality business analyst outputs (BRDs, BPAs, FR, etc.) for at least 4 small to medium-scale IT projects (around 3-6 months). Demonstrated proficiency in at least two functional domains (e.g., Finance, HCM, Supply Chain, EAM, Billing, etc.) and engaged diverse stakeholders. Independently applies skills and judgment within guidelines to complete assignments.
Education: Graduate of any four-year college course, preferably Industrial Engineering
Training Requirements: Entry-level business analysis certificate, Agile Foundation
License Required: Entry Certificate in Business Analysis recommended
