Description

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach HR staff (e.g., recruiters, HR generalists, assistants).
  • Assign and review daily tasks to ensure timely completion of HR activities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process (orientation, documentation, system access).
  • Monitor new-hire integration and early performance.

Policy Implementation & Compliance

  • Maintain and enforce company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws (DOLE regulations, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Update policies as needed and communicate changes to employees.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure fair treatment.
  • Organize employee engagement activities (team-building, recognition programs).

Performance Management

  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process (goal setting, reviews, improvement plans).
  • Track completion of performance evaluations and follow up on action plans.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external learning programs.
  • Track training attendance, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Support career-development initiatives and succession planning.

Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Oversee payroll preparation in collaboration with Finance (timekeeping, leave records).
  • Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans).
  • Address employee inquiries about compensation and benefits.

HR Metrics & Reporting

  • Maintain HR records and generate regular reports (turnover, headcount, recruitment metrics).
  • Analyze trends and recommend process improvements based on data.

Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training and emergency drills.

HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead special HR initiatives (HRIS implementation, policy rollouts).
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.


Requirements

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of progressive HR experience, with at least supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

Leadership & Management

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Experience in coaching, conflict resolution, and conducting performance reviews.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport across all organizational levels.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities

  • Ability to interpret HR metrics and generate actionable insights.
