About the Role

Giatech Consumer Goods Wholesaling is looking for a highly experienced Government Bids and Procurement Specialist to lead our end-to-end bidding process through PhilGEPS. This is a full-time contractor role (11 hours/day, 4x a week) with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

You must have prior success bidding and winning government contracts under a Red Registration company. The ideal candidate knows the full bidding lifecycle—from opportunity identification to post-award compliance—and can independently manage document submissions and government liaisons.

Work Setup

• Remote (must have personal laptop or desktop)
• Fieldwork required: occasional travel to government offices for submissions, follow-ups, or networking

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify relevant bid opportunities on PhilGEPS
• Prepare and organize complete bid documentation, including financial proposals, eligibility requirements, and technical specs
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to gather supporting documents
• Submit bids manually or electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Attend pre-bid conferences and liaise with procurement officers as needed
• Track bid status and follow up on results or clarifications
• Ensure post-award compliance (delivery, billing, documentation, etc.)
• Maintain updated records of all submitted bids and outcomes
• Proactively build relationships with procurement teams in government agencies

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully winning government bids via PhilGEPS
• Deep understanding of RA 9184 and the Philippine procurement process
• Experience with Red Registration companies
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Reliable and accountable, able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have own working laptop or desktop with stable internet
• Willing to travel locally as needed for bid submissions or networking
