Bookkeeper & Administrative Support Specialist



We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and client-focused individual with strong communication skills to handle bookkeeping and admin support. You'll help maintain financial accuracy, streamline operations, and support ongoing growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Account

  • ingSet up and process documents using Hubdoc/Dext
  • Handle Xero / QuickBooks data entry and reconciliations
  • Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable, including GST checks and bank reconciliations
  • Run Payroll: timesheets, leave tracking, draft pays, superannuation
  • Assist in preparing BAS, IAS, TPAR, and other reports
  • Generate monthly/quarterly reports: P&L, balance sheets, cash summaries
  • Maintain accurate records and spot irregularities
  • Use tools like MYOB, Excel/Google Sheets, SharePoint, Xero Practice Manager, Karbon


Admin & Support

  • Upload documents via Hubdoc/Dext
  • Follow up with clients on pending documents
  • Send documents for e-signature and file them accordingly
  • Organize emails and client files
  • Provide general administrative support as needed


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting or Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Financial Services
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in an Australian accounting firm
  • Strong grasp of bookkeeping/accounting principles, tax compliance, and client management
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working across multiple platforms
