One of our clients, an IT consulting company, is currently looking for a L3 Application Support who will join their dynamic team in Makati or Cebu.


WORK SET-UP:

  • Full-time
  • Hybrid in either Makati or Cebu


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide level 3 technical support (investigate, debug, code, test, deploy and support)

• Analyze and debug complex SQL queries and stored procedures to identify and resolve data-related issues.

• Use and manage a support ticketing system.

• Investigate, replicate, and resolve tickets (fix issues and delivery new features)

• Investigate and resolve problems related to XML data parsing and transformations.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth operation of application servers, databases, and related components.

• Conduct root cause analysis of critical incidents and implement preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must Have Skill/s: Java, JavaScript, MySQL, XML, and Java Web Application
  • Good to have: the rest of the skillset, must be familiar
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in L3 application support roles, preferably in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Javascript, MySQL and experience with optimizing and debugging complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Solid understanding of XML, including data parsing, validation, and transformation using XML technologies and tools.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues related to application servers, web services, and databases (Tomcat, MySQL, ActiveMQ, etc.).
  • Familiarity with networking terminologies (firewall, IP address, load balancer, FTP, etc) and Windows tools (Task scheduler, powershell, etc).
  • Familiarity with incident management and problem management processes and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Can work in the US time zone if needed.
