We are looking for a Designer Technical Support specialist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will provide essential technical assistance to our design team, supporting the design software and tools they rely on to create and refine apparel collections. You will work closely with the design team to resolve technical issues and ensure that design processes run smoothly, from conceptualization to final production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software) used by the design team.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to software, hardware, and design tools, ensuring minimal downtime for the design team.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and updates of design software and related tools.
• Ensure design-related hardware and software are optimized for performance and functionality.
• Provide guidance and training to designers on how to use design tools effectively, including new software features or updates.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve more complex system or network issues that may impact design workflows.
• Test and evaluate new design tools, plugins, and software before deployment to ensure compatibility with the team's needs.
• Support the integration of design software with other business systems, such as production tracking or inventory management tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation for common design software issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to streamline support processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design technologies that may benefit the team’s workflow.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical support for design-related software and tools.
• Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD tools, and other design-related applications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly resolve technical issues.
• Experience in providing remote technical support, with the ability to communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Understanding of file management systems, design file formats (e.g., AI, PSD, JPG), and color profiles.
• Ability to train and guide design teams on new features, software, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the fashion or apparel industry, especially with design-related processes in apparel manufacturing.
• Knowledge of 3D design tools, CAD software, or garment design technologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello for tracking design progress.
• Certifications in design software, IT support, or related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+).
