Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Manager that will drive the growth of the Generative AI expert contributor base in the Philippines. In this role, you will lead initiatives to expand our reach, build meaningful connections with experts in different fields, partner with co-working space providers for potential working locations of the contributors.


You will manage daily team performance, coordinate escalations, and ensure seamless handoffs between regional shifts and align with the project’s strategic priorities. By driving operational excellence and alignment, you will enable the greater strategic impact to the business.


Key Responsibilities:

Expansion and Retention of Contributor Base

  • Design and launch hiring campaigns tailored to acquire contributors that are expert in the required fields
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies to retain high-value contributors and foster long-term commitment.

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality data which are aligned with business objectives.
  • Track daily productivity and quality requirements ensuring team alignment with targets
  • Develop and enforce control processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, reliability and quality of work or data.

Code/Coder Quality & Review

  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvements in code quality and maintainability.
  • Conduct feedback sessions, and training to reinforce quality expectations and best practices

Team Operations Management

  • Drive onboarding and continuous training, ensuring readiness for new processes, tools, or information.
  • Proactively push for timely responses from cross-functional stakeholders.

Collaboration, Escalation & Issue Resolution

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical escalations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders across the organization to align efforts with business goals.
  • Drive ownership and continuous improvement culture in the team


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of hands-on software development experience and at least 5 years leading teams.

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript) and software development frameworks, with a strong understanding of system architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and managing software engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.

Project & Process Management

  • Ability to oversee project lifecycles, drive agile methodologies, and optimize workflows for efficiency and quality.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making

  • Strong analytical skills to review data sets, assess technical challenges, and implement effective solutions.

Goal-Oriented Execution

  • Proven track record of setting and achieving coding, performance, and business targets in a fast-paced environment.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and present insights to stakeholders.
