Description
- Prepare a variety of Western dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff and oversee preparation processes.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menus.
- Maintain kitchen inventory and control food costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with management on kitchen operations and events.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Skills and Competencies:Excellent cooking skills, particularly in Western cuisine.
- Strong kitchen hygiene knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and discretion in food preparation.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with potential long hours.
