Role: Senior WordPress Web Developer & Designer (Luxury Interior Brand)

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Web Developer & Designer to work with our agency client in the luxury interior design space.

This is a high-level rebuild project with long-term potential.

Project Background

Our client, Design Nu, is a luxury interior design studio based in Australia.

Last year, the client paid for a complete website build under a different brand name. Unfortunately, that website was taken/retained by a previous designer and legal action did not result in recovery.

The structure and strategic layout of this website were originally built for our client. We now need to:

• Replicate the structure

• Upgrade the design

• Rewrite and refine the content

• Improve the conversion flow

• Rebrand everything under Design Nu

This will be a strategic rebuild — not just a redesign.

Scope of Work

• Develop the new Design Nu website on WordPress

• Replicate the sitemap and structural logic of astridwahlstrom.com

• Elevate the visual direction (luxury, architectural, refined)

• Improve user experience and conversion flow

• Build service pages

• Build portfolio structure

• Create a dedicated Window Studio landing page (conversion-focused)

• Ensure full mobile optimisation

• Implement basic on-page SEO structure

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years WordPress experience

• Experience building luxury brand websites (at least 3 samples required)

• Experience with interior design or architectural brands preferred

• Strong understanding of layout hierarchy and typography

• Strong understanding of conversion-focused design

• Experience with Elementor Pro or advanced WordPress builders

• Understands performance optimisation

Portfolio Requirements

• 3 luxury brand websites you've developed

• 1–2 landing page examples (conversion-focused)
