Description
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods
- Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients
- Assist with other duties as required to support the operations team
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- At least 3 years of experience as a commercial driver, preferably in the road transport industry
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads safely
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varied shift patterns
- Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 Year Experienced Employee specialized in General Work (Housekeeper, Driver, Dispatch, Messenger, etc. or equivalent.)
- Holds Professional Driver’s License with Restrictions 1, 2, and 3, authorizing operation of both light and heavy commercial vehicles.
- Physically fit specifically with no visual and hearing problem.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate clearly in English. Proficiency in local/other languages a plus.
