We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager to lead testing initiatives for mission-critical projects within the Banking and Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Core Banking systems, Payment platforms, and both manual and automated testing methodologies. This role demands strategic leadership in test planning, execution, and quality assurance to ensure seamless delivery across complex financial applications


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including risk assessments and test coverage analysis.
  • Define and manage test budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Product Managers, Developers, Project Managers) to understand project requirements and define testing scope.
  • Test Execution & Management: Lead and manage test execution across all phases of the software development lifecycle (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing).
  • Oversee the work of testing teams, including manual and automation testers.
  • Monitor and track test progress, and identify and resolve testing issues.
  • Test Automation: Advocate for and drive test automation initiatives.
  • Define and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Test Reporting & Analysis: Generate comprehensive test reports, including test coverage, defect reports, and test metrics.
  • Analyze test results to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate test results and findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Identify and implement best practices in software testing.
  • Mentor and train testing team members on new tools, technologies, and testing techniques.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience as a Test Manager or in a similar leadership role within software testing.
  • 5+ years of experience in test management, preferably within banking, financial institutions, or fintech domains.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automation testing using tools like Selenium, JMeter, UFT, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Expertise in various testing types (e.g., functional testing, performance testing, security testing).
  • Must have experience in the Banking and Finance Industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
