Description
- Perform regular inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance on forklifts (electric, diesel, LPG) and related equipment.
- Replace or repair defective parts such as brakes, steering systems, transmissions, and motors.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct safety checks to ensure forklifts are in proper working condition.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Notify management of any major mechanical issues or equipment replacement needs.
- Support fleet management by tracking equipment status and availability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Certification in forklift maintenance or automotive/mechanical repair is a plus.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in repairing forklifts or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with electric, LPG, and diesel-powered forklifts.
- Working knowledge of diagnostic tools and safety protocols.
