Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Operate and maintain dialysis machines, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Assess patients’ condition, vital signs, and response to treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and adjust fluid removal rates as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and observations.
• Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, diet, and home care after dialysis.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals in patient care planning.
• Handle and dispose of biohazard materials properly following clinical guidelines.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies or complications during dialysis sessions.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of dialysis supplies and equipment.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients undergoing treatment.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
• At least 1–2 years of nursing experience (experience in dialysis or nephrology is preferred).
• Completion of a Dialysis Training Program or certification in hemodialysis is an advantage.
• Knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment operation, and patient care standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours during treatment sessions.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
