JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: PURCHASING STAFF

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME (from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 A.M. - 6:36 P.M.)

LOCATION: 210 SPEAKER PEREZ ST. BARANGAY MAHARLIKA, QUEZON CITY

SALARY: ₱ 18,000.00 (with ₱ 2,000.00 transportation allowance)

JOB SUMMARY:

This position reports directly to the Purchasing Officer and the Managing Partners. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure efficient and timely procurement processes. This role is to oversee the entire purchase cycle from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts, evaluating quotations, maintaining long-lasting relationships, and placing purchase orders.

The continuous growth of Deus Enterprises Co. will be scaled up to other areas around the country, providing more effortless and convenient supplies and deliveries to all procuring entities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicating effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Negotiating with product deals and inquiring about discounts.
  • Cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Conducting online research to source items and finding new suppliers.
  • Making purchases from local or international online shops.
  • Verifying the authenticity of purchase orders to prevent the acquisition of counterfeit items.
  • Conducting follow-up calls with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely schedules for deliveries.
  • Preparing reports on purchase, including cost analysis basis.
  • Adhering to purchase formats and systems in place.
  • Coordinating with the logistics department or the suppliers to ensure the product(s) arrive in good condition at the warehouse based on the PO request(s).
  • Updating the internal purchasing database.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in the purchasing or procurement department.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Above-average attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Knowledgeable in procurement processes and regulations.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Google spreadsheets.
  • Must be willing to do fieldwork if required to check and verify the quality of the product(s) from the supplier(s).
