- Canvasses and negotiates all minor and some specific major items as designated by the buyers and/or department head, without the authority to close..
- Prepares Notice of Orders and other documentary forms for imported items. Coordinates with the Treasury Department for payment requirements and coordinates with Brokers for pick-up of documents.
- Monitors, maintains and improves as necessary Purchasing files in the Server for easy access to information by everyone in the department.
- Ensures that risk management function is integrated into all aspects of the business operations and as such acts as an understudy of all Buyers and familiarizes self with their routine functions and files at least to be able to assist in the continuity of the department’s operations in case of absence of another.
- Familiarity with machines, equipment, hardware in plant is an advantage
- Work experience form Chemical Manufacturing or construction firm is a plus
- Knowledge of Basic Purchasing Skills
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel and MS word
- Can start asap.
- Diploma of any degree
- Relevant experience with procurement and admin
- Can start ASAP
- Amenable to work in Pasig
