JOB SUMMARY
The Public Relations and Marketing Officer is responsible in developing and executing strategic social media campaigns and marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders that align with the company's business goals. This role involves strategic planning, creating engaging content, managing the company's online presence, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, corporate communications, analytics and reporting and keeping up with the latest trends and changes in social media which marketing is essential for the company.
OBJECTIVE
· Work closely with various departments to ensure brand consistency.
· Creates comprehensive social media contents and marketing plans that is align with the company's overarching business objectives.
· Develops engaging and high-quality contents which is a core responsibility, that includes writing, designing, and producing a variety of content types such as blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media posts.
· Oversees the company's presence on various social media platforms, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. This involves scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring comments and messages, and responding to audience interactions in a timely and professional manner.
· Helps measures the success of social media and marketing efforts, tracks and analyzes social media performance metrics, and report on ROI and campaign effectiveness.
· Optimize content for search engines and monitor web traffic metrics.
· Build media relationships and helps manages creative campaigns, promotional events and brands collaborations/partnerships.
· Keeping up with the latest trends and changes in social media and marketing is essential.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation and Management
1. Creation of high-quality, relevant content that aligns with the brand's voice and message, and distribute it across various social media platforms.
2. Creating and posting contents, which includes writing blog posts, editing and proofreading copy to ensure that it adheres to editorial standards, creating infographics, and sharing videos and images.
3. Develop and implement strategies to boost the organization's online presence and make the brand more recognizable.
4. Overseeing competitor activity on social media, portals, websites and other channels.
Effective Communication
5. Communicating with Corporate Planning Officer for updates on timelines, reports, analysis and budgets for marketing, campaigns & social media.
6. Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders for marketing, design, and content to produce high-quality material.
7. Managing communication and coordination with third-party vendors and service providers regarding marketing-related concerns and activities.
8. Handling crisis and emergency communications for the company.
Brand Reputation Management & Staying Up-To Date
9. Managing the company’s brand and reputation.
10. Ensures brand consistency and alignment with guidelines across all generated content.
11. The officer shall also continuously learn and adapt to new tools, algorithms, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Governance, Control and Risk Management
12. Documents the processing handling duties and tasks being performed for the role through a comprehensive manual to ensure quick transition and continuity in case of extended leaves or resignation.
13. Creating and ensures marketing and advertising meets legal, regulatory, and industry standards, as well as ethical guidelines.
Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
