Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Project Analyst is assigned to the Investment Funds and Special Initiatives Division (PSIS) within the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to the designated International Staff and Officer.
Your Role
As a Project Analyst, you will manage the fund account administration and management including the onboarding, disbursements, monitoring and billing for private equity investments. You will work with fund managers, multiple PSOD staff and different internal and external clients.
You Will
- Project Monitoring
- Ensure adherence by clients to their reporting, safeguard and integrity obligations and make the necessary follow up.
- Coordinate with Deal Teams in case of investment limit breaches or unexpected developments in a transaction.
- Coordinate with other ADB units on further review and action on relevant reports received.
- Disbursements, Distributions, Onboarding and Closing
- Support PSOD's middle office in processing disbursements and distributions, verification of compliance with disbursement conditions, follow up on submission and review the completeness and validity of documents.
- Support PSOD's middle office in ensuring accurate system entries to reflect approvals, signings, terminations and cancellations; and in coordinating with other ADB units on the recording of the transactions.
- Database Maintenance
- Ensure completeness of database of legal, financing, security and project documents, and completeness of documents created in PSIS post-origination.
- Help create and maintain project-related databases to track portfolio size, composition, and other characteristics, for management information.
- Administrative and Planning Support
- Help plan initiatives as part of PSIS' interaction with other ADB units and in the development of systems.
- Coordinate the preparation of inputs for the annual work program and budget exercises.
Y Ou Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance, accounting, or financial institutions preferably with a leading international financial institution, investment bank, private equity fund or consultancy firm.
- Experience with finance and accounting business principles and strong skills in client management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural setting.
- Proficiency in English to compose and edit memos, presentation materials and other documents and coordinate with internal and external clients.
