- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure the effective functioning of supply chain processes, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, and contract monitoring.
- Oversee shipping, transportation, and delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Optimize routes and distribution channels to minimize costs and delivery time.
- Address logistical issues and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for quality materials and services at competitive prices and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Generate and present performance reports, including cost analyses and efficiency metrics.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and disruptions that could impact the supply chain.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance.
- Lead initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and implement best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain operations, Procurement or inventory management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
