- Monitor pool areas to ensure safety.
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons.
- Attend training sessions and maintain certifications.
- Assist in emergency response situations effectively.
- Educational Qualifications: A diploma in Health or Recreation is required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a lifeguarding role preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong physical fitness, teamwork, swimming proficiency, and First Aid certification are essential.
- Working Conditions: Outdoor pool or beach setting, exposure to various weather conditions.
- Qualities and Traits: Must be vigilant, responsible, and possess strong communication skills.
