The Payroll Specialist is responsible for preparing, processing, and reviewing payroll for AnswerKey clients. The role ensures accurate computation, timely release, and full compliance with Philippine labor and tax laws while providing reliable support to client companies. This position represents AnswerKey’s commitment to precision, confidentiality, and excellent service delivery in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing for Clients

  • Compute employee salaries, deductions, and benefits based on client-provided data.
  • Validate attendance, overtime, and leave records from client systems or templates.
  • Prepare and issue payslips and payroll summaries per client schedule.

2. Government Compliance & Reporting

  • Handle SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR filings and remittances for assigned clients.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports.
  • Maintain updated documentation for employee loans, clearances, and tax forms.

3. Client Coordination & Support

  • Communicate with client representatives to clarify payroll data and timelines.
  • Provide accurate payroll reports, summaries, and compliance proof when required.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

4. Records Management & Quality Control

  • Maintain organized and secure payroll folders for all assigned clients.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurately reflected in the accounting system or client tracker.
  • Perform internal checks and reconciliations before releasing final payroll reports.
