THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a progressive and diverse Australian-owned healthcare agency with over 40 years of experience, providing workforce solutions across the healthcare sector, including Permanent Staffing, Contract Placement, and Agency Staffing.
They are now hiring a
Payroll and Accounts Assistant to manage data, maintain records, process payments, and assist with clerical tasks. This role also involves handling inquiries, reconciling accounts, and supporting various departments as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update data in spreadsheets and reports.
- Manage and monitor a shared mailbox.
- Ensure records and reports are accurate and up to date.
- Perform clerical tasks, including answering phone calls and preparing documents.
- Process and prepare vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer accounts with company records to ensure accuracy.
- Be adaptable and willing to take on additional tasks and responsibilities across departments as the company continues to grow.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of payroll experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with Xero Accounting Software is a plus.
