- Legal research and analysis: Research case law, statutes, and other legal sources to help develop legal arguments.
- Document drafting: Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests for review by attorneys.
- Case management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage discovery documents.
- Client and witness interaction: Interview clients and witnesses and serve as a liaison between all parties involved in a case.
- Trial and hearing support: Assist attorneys by organizing exhibits, taking notes during proceedings, and preparing materials for trials and hearings.
- Administrative support: Perform administrative tasks, schedule appointments, and manage legal databases and filing systems.
- Compliance and filings: Assist with regulatory filings and ensure compliance with legal standards.
