- Accept and unload deliveries from suppliers, couriers, and internal transfers.
- Inspect incoming parts and materials for damages, discrepancies, or missing items.
- Verify item descriptions, quantities, and part numbers against purchase orders, delivery receipts, or invoices.
- Properly document received items using forms, inventory systems, or ERP software.
- Tag or label incoming parts with stock codes or barcodes, if applicable.
- Coordinate with purchasing or quality control teams when issues are found (e.g., wrong item, defective part).
- Ensure proper storage and organization of received items in the warehouse or stockroom.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving area.
